This picture was commissioned by SFX Magazine for the launch of the new Dr Who TV series back in March 2005. The painting was reproduced as a centrefold and a special gift folded poster. This was the first time since the Target Book covers, 30 years ago, that Chris was asked to paint a Dr Who picture.
